Apple has sold over 100 million iPod Touches to date

In the morning, the Apple company launched a new model of iPod Touch 5G, the version available in the Apple Online Store being a low cost version of the current line of iPod Touches. Separately from this release, those from Apple have confirmed for The Loop that 100 million iPod Touches were sold in almost 6 years of availability on the market. In the fall of 2007, Apple launched the first iPod Touch as an accessory to the line of iPhones launched that summer, the device being received with great interest.

In a lawsuit filed against Samsung last year, Apple says that it had sold 45.6 million units worldwide, so in a single year the company would have sold more than in another 5 years, a sign that the iPod Touch is becoming more and more popular among consumers, and Apple must to give him more attention.
