Apple increases the prices of its own products in the Japanese store, blame the yen

During the last night Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), updated prices for iDevices sold in Apple Store Japan, increasing them due to the exchange rate. It seems that the yen is not going through such a great time and Apple has decided to raise prices to compensate for the exchange rate difference between the dollar and the yen. Apple has a habit of making such changes when it notices that the dollar is getting strong, but overlooks the changes when the dollar is surpassed.

Apple has never had a 100% correct practice regarding the prices of products sold outside the US, the dollar-euro/etc conversion being always done in favor of that, and the change in Japan reflects this again.
