New models of the iMac would appear in the middle of this summer

Although it was said that new models of MacBook Air or MacBook Pro Retina Display is going to make his appearance during the opening keynote of WWDC 2013 which will be organized this evening, unfortunately I had not heard anything about the update of the line iMac. Well, today we find out that stocks of iMacs available in stores Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), and those of the partners are starting to decrease, and new versions with processors Intel Haswell it would arrive on the market in July at the latest.

We attribute the decline in shipments to the fact that new product shipments have peaked and due to the arrival of the consumer slow season. But we believe iMac shipments troughed in 2Q13. Apple is expected to upgrade the iMac processor to Intel's (US) latest Haswell processor in June or July. Meanwhile, the consumer peak season has arrived. Thus we expect shipments to reach 1.1mn units in 3Q13, up 69% QoQ. Full-year shipments are forecast to be 4.7mn units, up 31% YoY.

The information comes from an analyst who in the past provided valid information about the launch of the company's products Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, so they can be seen with enough certainty. Considering that only 7 months have passed since the launch of the current line of iMacs, there is a possibility that the delivery dates will be postponed by 1-2 months, but this year iMacs with improved hardware will be launched, it remains only seen when Apple will consider it appropriate to bring them to the market.
