During the last night the software Semi-restore it was released for all iDevice owners jailbroken who are interested in "restore" their own terminals. In practice, the software does not perform a restore in the true sense of the word, but deletes all third-party applications and all installed packages from Cydia in our terminals, still keeping it intact jailbreakthe one we have in the devices. Separately from deleting all information, Semi-restore fix host file problems, solve file permissions problems, terminal activation problems, and FaceTime/iMessage and the possible automatic entries in Safe Mode.

Uninstalls all Cydia packages

  • Fix host file issues
  • Erases all user data
  • Fixed permissions
  • Fixed activation issues
  • Fixed iMessage/Facetime issues
  • Fixes Safe mode issues appearing randomly
  • Reinstalls Cydia (in case it was deleted)

UPDATED: On this page find a tutorial that will teach you how to use the program.

Considering that we are not talking about an actual restore performed on your terminals, Semi-restore it doesn't update the baseband, it doesn't downgrade iOS/downgrade baseband, it doesn't jailbreak if you don't already have it. Semi-Restore only works on jailbroken terminals on iOS 5.x – iOS 6.1.2, it cannot be used on other terminals that do not have jailbreak and you must remember this. The system developer recommends uninstalling any ports of Crab from terminals because, as I told you on multiple occasions, because they are illegal and affect the "restore" process, but at the same time you must remember not to open iTunes or XCode while Semi-restore is working.

What this doesn't do

  • Upgrade your iOS Version
  • Downgrade your iOS Version
  • Jailbreak your iOS Device
  • Fix broken System Files

Notes:

  • Avoid using your iOS device or anything related to iTunes or XCode during the Semi-Restore. Why not actually go outside?
  • This process cannot and does not repair broken system files! Avoid all Siri Ports, as they are not only illegal (except for Spire o

To summarize, Semi-Restore only works on terminals that have been jailbroken on iOS 5.0 - iOS 6.1.2 and allows you to delete all data from them, except for the jailbreak, to clean the terminal of any kind of information. You can't actually restore using iTunes, you can't downgrade/upgrade baseband, you can't downgrade/upgrade iOS, you can only delete information on jailbroken terminals and nothing more. Semi-Restore will require the reactivation of your terminal and if you cannot do the process automatically, then you will need an operator activation card on which the device is coded.

Semi-restore can be downloaded available here(when the website will recover) and after downloading make a backup of the terminal via iTunes/iCloud, then close iTunes/XCode, connect the terminal to the PC, open Semi-Restore, press the Semi-Restore button and wait 5-10-15 minutes until the process is finished, the duration varying depending on the information in the terminals. A tutorial will be available a little later, but the steps to follow are the same.
