Tutorial: Here's how you can use the Google Maps application on the iPad

Despite the popularity of the application Google Maps, the Google company did not launch in App Store a version compatible with iPad tablets, but this cannot stop you from modifying the existing application to run it on tablets. Everything works only on the tablets that have it jailbreak done, so you won't be able to use this method on a tablet whose internal file system you don't have access to, so don't complicate things pointlessly. If you follow closely instructions below, you will be able to run Google Maps without problems on the entire screen of the iPad tablet, the application must be installed on the tablet before starting the process, but the application must be closed, including from the background.

1. Open the iFile application and navigate to var/mobile/applications where you will look for the Google Maps application folder.

2. Inside the Google Maps application folder, look for the file info. plist which you will open with iFile's text editor.

3. Through the text visible there, look for the entry UIDeviceFamily and modify the mention 1 in 2. 2 is the code that allows the application to run including on iPad tablets. After modification, save the file.

Now perform a respring of your tablet, and when it reopens you should be able to run the application on the entire iPad screen.
