OS X Mavericks Developer Preview 5 was launched last night by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, and the new beta version of OS X Mavericks contains the application iBooks which the company presented and praised in the framework WWDC 2013. In the video clip above you have a detailed presentation of the new application for Macs, it synchronizes when you open all the purchases you have in Apple IDyours, but of course you have to log in. The application contains the package sections and the PDF Reading menu, the only difference compared to the iOS applications being the shelf that has been removed.

The iBooks application is offered free of charge in OS X Mavericks by Apple.
