MixBit – a new video editing application launched by the co-founder of YouTube

MixBit is a new application for iDevices that allows us to generate dynamic video clips directly from our iDevices. The application takes video clips in segments of only 16 seconds, 256 segments can be pasted in each of the video clips made through it. The idea is to give users the opportunity to generate video clips in which to represent various interesting actions, presenting them in sequences of 16 seconds each with the role of potentiating their importance and making them more attractive.

MixBit lets you record, edit and publish videos as short as one second or as long as an hour—right from your mobile phone. You can also create videos without needing to shoot original content. Touch your screen anywhere and hold to record. Videos are taken in multiple clips, or "bits," as long as 16 seconds each. A video can include as many as 256 clips. Clips are stored as independent elements but play as one seamless video. Drag and drop to rearrange, cut or delete clips, as well as save or publish, right from your phone. Check out MixBit.com to view, collect and mix videos contributed by the community.

All videos made through the application can be published on the Mixbit.com website, and from there you can share them with anyone you want, the MixBit application being available for free in the App Store.
