Last week we told you that it will soon be available in Cydia Celeste 2, a new version almost completely redone of the application through which we can share and receive files via Bluetooth from any mobile terminals or computers. This new version of the application, just like the last one, will allow us to send almost any kind of files from most iOS applications, compatibility being implemented mainly for native applications, but also for some third parties. The application will give us the possibility to share files and web links to any other mobile terminals, all extremely fast and theoretically without much effort.
Celeste is integrated with the Notifications Center in our iDevices, so we will be able to view the progress of the transfer of our files at any time, the same being visible directly from the application. Celeste 2 it is capable of receiving files via Bluetooth, the multimedia ones being automatically transferred to the Music or Videos applications available in our terminals. The new version of the application uses the native Bluetooth system from iOS, so it will not be necessary to carry out any configuration to share/receive files, file transfer will not stop the playback of multimedia content and theoretically the application should be compatible from the start with iOS 7, but in case of contract, a small update will solve the problem.
The new version of the application will be available for free for those who have purchased Celeste 1, but users who buy it for the first time will have to pay $10. It is not yet known when the application will be available in Cydia, but as soon as you can purchase it, I will let you know.
