Apple is the company attacked most often through processes based on intellectual property rights

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is one of the companies that annually spends hundreds of millions of dollars on processes based on intellectual property rights, but does not do it on its own initiative. Conformable a study recently published, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is the most attacked by the holders of various intellectual property rights, 165 lawsuits of this kind being filed against the Apple company in the last 4 years, the year 2012 registering the most of them.

Making a comparison with other big companies around the world, HP is in second place with 143 processes, Samsung in 3rd place with 123 processes, and in 4th place we find those from Dell with 114 processes. Most of these lawsuits, in the case of all companies, are based on the intentions of some companies to obtain tens or hundreds of millions of dollars based on claims that have no support before the American courts, and many times they end up returning the amounts spent by others for these processes.
