Canopy implements a suite of new functions for the Safari browser

Canopy is a tweak released during this evening in Cydia, and with its help we can implement a whole suite of new functions for the iOS Safari browser. If you look at the list of functions below, you will notice that the tweak gives us the possibility to copy addresses and immediately add them to the Reading List, it implements pasge & go or paste & search functions, it allows the deletion of recent searches, allows the deletion of individual entries from the browsing history (including links of entire data), allows the opening of the Safari settings menu directly from the browser, allows the easier opening of new pages, allows changing the settings regarding the web clips added to LockScreen and more.

  • Recently Closed Pages (the native implementation from the iPad, so it knows not to remember in Private mode, remembers the page's back/forward history)
  • Long press on Bookmarks, History items, Reading List items and Cloud Tabs to:
    • Copy the address
    • Add them directly to Reading List or Bookmarks
    • Share them on Facebook, Twitter, Email, iMessage/SMS
  • Paste & Go and Paste & Search
  • Delete recent searches
  • Delete individual history items, including whole dates
  • Add all open pages to Reading List or Bookmarks folder & Close all open pages
  • Open Safari settings from Page View.
  • Long press on the View Pages button to open a new page
  • Long press on the Bookmarks button to add current page to bookmarks or to reading list (option in settings)
  • Mark Reading List items as Read or Unread (long press on reading list item)
  • Insert search and address suggestion into their respective text fields without Going/Searching (like in Chrome)
  • Change Home screen web clip settings (glossy icon, fullscreen)

Canopy is available at the price of $1 in the repo BigBoss al Cydia, but it is not compatible with iPad tablets.
