The Facebook company has just announced on its own blog an update for the application Facebook was published in App Store and will be available in the next few minutes for all users. The main novelty brought by this update is represented by the modification of the design of the application to make it as similar as possible to what it offers us Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), in iOS 7, the side being moved to the lower part of the screen. Apart from this design change, the application brings a simpler way to search through hashtags, loads information faster and solves some performance problems.

- Faster loading and a cleaner design for timelines on iPad
- Fixed a bug that was causing some people to see red notification badges when there weren't any new notifications
