A group of people interested in buying the iPhone 5S was robbed in front of an AT&T store (Video)

To stand in line to purchase one iPhone 5S or iPhone 5C it could turn out to be not only a tiring adventure, but also an extremely dangerous and expensive one, at least that's what a group of people from Houston, USA could tell you. Waiting overnight in front of an AT&T store in a not very trafficked area, all the people present there were robbed by a group of people who got out of a car stopped in front of them and threatened them with guns in order to take the iPhones and the money. At least one of the people was robbed and his credit cards were used a little later in one of the gas stations in the vicinity of the location, the police are currently investigating the crime.

Apple fans waiting in an early-morning line for the release of the new iPhone were robbed at gunpoint on Friday, Houston police said. It was reported around 5 am at the AT&T store on Westheimer Road at Chimney Rock. Police said people were camped outside the store when two armed guys got out of a car. One of the victims told KHOU 11 News the robbers walked up and started making demands.

This is probably the first time that this happens in front of a store with customers who were waiting to buy a new iPhone terminal, but it will certainly not be the last, thieves having the courage to act in similar ways from now on because the profits can be very big.
