During this evening the application Instagram for iOS has been updated, version 4.2 is now available for download on our iDevices. In an article published on the blog the Instagram company is detailing the update launched today and we are talking about compatibility with the new one iOS 7, modifying the design to benefit from the novelties thought by Apple for this version of the operating system, increasing the size (including the resolution) of the pictures and video clips displayed in the feeds, arranging the content in a different way to be displayed bigger, changing the way profile pictures are displayed and that's about it.
In this update you will find that we've increased the size of photos and videos in your feed so that they expand to the edges of your screen. We're also happy to say that increased size means increased resolution, so photos and videos will be clearer and more vibrant than ever. In grid view, we streamlined things so that your content will also appear larger. We led our redesign with a focus on clarity to keep the feel of Instagram clean, simple and grounded in the photos and videos you discover and share.
Finally, in keeping with iOS 7's conventions, we've made profile pictures circular so Instagram feels at home on your phone.
