According to what I detailed in this article, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), launched last night OS X 10.8.5 Supplemental Update 1.0 for Mac owners. The update comes to solve problems that prevented the use of the iSight camera in certain applications, to solve situations where external HDDs were disconnected when Macs entered sleep mode, to solve some problems that prevented HDMI audio to work after opening a Mac in sleep mode, and at the end it remains to solve some compatibility problems with certain Bluetooth USB adapters.
OS X 10.8.5 Supplemental Update 1.0 can be downloaded for free through OS X's Software Update system.
