According to the rumors, Samsung has started working on the sensor that will be equipped on the Samsung Galaxy S5 to allow the users to protect their device more like never before. Unfortunately, there is no information on how this Eye-Scanning sensor will work.
It would not be unusual for Samsung to implement such a sensor in its smartphones since it already offers a system that follows the gaze to start/stop the playback of videos and scroll pages, but we are talking about something much more complex. For Samsung, the leap to such a technology would be quite big and would offer a real advantage over Apple or HTC, who probably will not choose to use a system of this kind, especially if its implementation will not be useful.
