iPad Air suggests the launch of new iPad models

As the I already told you in an article published today, the choice of name iPad Air for the new iPad tablet of those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), surprised a lot of people, the number being kept secret by the company until the day of the event. The choice of this name is curious because it is similar to the name chosen by Apple for another part of its products, specifically the thin MacBooks that represent the line of entry-level laptops from Cupertino.

If we look at the way Apple's offer is arranged now, we see that Macs are available in several versions, Mini, Air and Pro, with the iMac being the top model. In the case of iPad tablets, we have Mini and Air models, and the launch of the latter suggests that a Pro version could appear soon. The video clip below was published by Apple with the idea of proving that an iPad tablet is good for everything, and the release of a line of Pro tablets will reinforce this idea, especially if they will have better hardware that will allow you to perform of complex tasks.

Apple has been testing iPad tablets with 12.9-inch screens for several months and they would fit perfectly with what I told you above. A Pro line of iPad tablets that have 12.9-inch screens would offer users a very varied range of options regarding the purchase of such a product from Apple. iPad Pro it would not only have a bigger screen, but also better hardware, i.e. a more powerful processor, more RAM, more storage space (maybe 256 GB as Steve Wozniak wants), and under these conditions Apple could say that it replaces, almost brilliantly, the PC.

Even if we are talking about a tablet designed for professionals that would run on iOS, iPad Pro he could do his job brilliantly, especially now Apple offers free productivity suites for its products. The implementation of larger screens offers more space for use, and this is demanded by most people who use productivity software, many of whom are probably very happy to give up a MacBook in favor of a tablet, but only if it offers almost the same functions for using applications and great performance.

Of course, no one knows when Apple will release a tablet iPad Pro, but the company's recent actions suggest that it is interested in exploring this market, it remains to be seen how it will do it.
