Almost 250 million iDevices were sold in fiscal year 2013

2013 was a great year for Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, and last night the American company announced the financial results for the 3 months ending it. Based on the figures announced last night, we learn that throughout 2013 Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), sold 247.7 million iDevices, i.e. iPhones, iPads and iPods of any kind. iPhones represent the largest part of sales, i.e. 150.2 million, tablets representing 71.1 million, and iPods remain with the remaining 26.4 million units.

Practically, Apple sold this year almost 30 million units more than last year and we are talking about an increase of up to 15%, a moderate one considering Apple's popularity. The increase would have been higher if iPods had not recorded increasingly weak sales, this being the only segment of iDevices for which there is a decrease.
