BBMor BlackBerry Messenger, is the version for iOS of the famous messaging system developed by the Canadians from Blackberry, being launched with great success in App Store. Considering the great interest in this service, those from Blackberry they decided to extend its availability to iPod Touch or iPad WiFi Only, as these devices are not yet able to register in the company's servers. Stating that in the next 24 hours a version of BBM compatible with iDevices without GSM connections will be launched in the App Store, Blackberry deals a strong blow to competitors such as WhatsApp Messenger which do not even have versions compatible with tablets.
It is not yet known what news the application will bring besides this compatibility with devices that do not have cellular connections, but I think it is enough to attract several million more iDevice owners. Blackberry had announced that 10 million people accessed its network in the first 24 hours after its launch, it did not offer any recent update, but the figure has probably doubled. BBM for iOS is available for free in the App Store.
