PowerUp 3.0 a paper plane that can be controlled using an iPhone (Video)

PowerUp 3.0 this the project of a new one interesting product compatible with terminals iPhone and I'm talking about a "paper airplane" equipped with an engine that can be controlled using a iPhone and a dedicated application. The plane is built using a carbon fiber structure that, in theory, should prevent the destruction of the terminal, and the mechanical components receive energy from a battery capable of providing 10 minutes of use on a single charge. The iPhone connects to this product using Bluetooth LE, so you must not move more than 50 meters away from it, otherwise you will not be able to control it and it will fall out of the air, probably getting lost for good.

  • Fold It: Simply fold a piece of copier paper into a paper airplane
  • Attach It: Attach the Smart Module to your paper plane with the patented clips underneath the Smart Module.
  • Connect It: Start the app to connect to the Smart Module with your iPhone.
  • Fly It: Push the throttle to full and launch the paper airplane high into the sky. Tilt your smartphone to the left or to the right to steer your plane, increase or reduce the throttle to go up or down.
  • Crash-proof carbon fiber frame
  • Precision control for easy flying
  • Automatic thrust to assist when banking
  • Lithium Polymer Battery provides 10 minutes of flight on one charge
  • Ascend/Descend using the throttle lever
  • Tilt the iPhone right or left for maneuvering
  • Battery level indicator
  • Charging status indicator
  • Range indicator
  • Thrust level indicator
  • Artificial horizon
  • Air Traffic Control (ATC)

PowerUp 3.0 it is currently only a kickstarter project and is awaiting funding to be officially launched on the market, and in case of an official launch, it will be available for purchase at the price of $40.
