An American man was arrested at the location of the future Apple campus after the involvement of the police and a helicopter

If you think that only in Romania iron or copper is stolen without any limit, well, there are similar cases in the USA, one of them taking place in the space where it is going to be built Apple Campus 2. An American man was arrested on Saturday by the Santa Clara police after a search involving a helicopter and at least one specially trained dog, he was discovered hiding in a bush. The man had entered the location Apple Campus 2 to steal copper pipes and not only that, the security team that supervises the location calling the police after discovering that the gates of an entrance had been opened in an unauthorized manner by an unknown person.

A Belmont man was arrested Saturday in the theft of copper pipes and wiring from a former Hewlett-Packard Corp. property in Cupertino where Apple Corp. is planning its Apple 2 campus, a sheriff's sergeant said. Glenn Cartwright, 56, was booked on Saturday into the Santa Clara County Main Jail following his arrest on suspicion of burglary and possession of burglary tools, Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Kurtis Stenderup said. Deputies called a sheriff's department helicopter to fly overhead and enlisted help from the city of Santa Clara's K-9 unit to assist in searching the property, Stenderup said. A police dog later located Cartwright hiding in the bushes and after he refused to comply with orders from authorities to come out, the dog was released and bit him before his arrest, Stenderup said.

If in Romania the cables that ensure the operation of railway equipment are stolen daily, and all kinds of metal objects from abandoned or under construction buildings, similar things happen in the USA, under somewhat similar conditions. The only difference between the USA and Romania is that here the police are not involved to a similar extent to discover thieves who plunder without limit everything that comes their way.
