Google is preparing the launch of a Nexus TV next year

It has been rumored for several years that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), prepares to launch a iTV, so Google entered now in the "game" of launching televisions, one Nexus-TV to be launched next year. It is rumored that the TV would include a Kinect-like sensor and that it would be controlled by a smartphone, and in terms of content, we are talking about the possibility of accessing various online multimedia streaming services, as well as some specially designed games for its Android OS version. Although little information about this product has appeared so far, it seems that the "father of Android", Andy Ruben, presented a prototype in the frame CES 2013, a select group of people being invited to experience it.

Even if Nexus-TV- seems to be far from an official release, it was normal Google to produce such a device since Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), already plans to launch such a device. Although Apple's product would be controlled by gestures or voice commands, Google is betting on the possibility of controlling it using a smartphone, but it will probably have a special interface, just as we expected in iTVthose from Apple. Having said that, a very interesting 2014 is predicted, but I don't think that Apple will bring an iTV to the market too soon.
