Using unofficial patches for Mobile Substrate could be dangerous

launching evasi0n7 jailbreak generated a lot of problems for users trying to install various tweaks available in Cydia, but they found out that they don't work because Mobile Substrate not compatible with iOS 7. In an attempt to solve the problems, various people made at least one patch for the plugin developed by saurik, some of the tweaks working correctly, but unfortunately using these patches could be dangerous.

(This is horribly dangerous: MSHookFunction is not designed to be used on functions that might actively be running; this makes Substrate get injected into launchd while launchd is loading launch daemons… no one should install this; it doesn't even solve the problem remotely correctly for anything but SpringBoard/backboardd, and will end up leaving you with Substrate having been randomly applied to different background processes.)

saurik, the creator Cydia, he explained in a Reddit thread the dangers involved in installing these patches, their developers using not so good methods to solve the problems. The warning made by saurik comes without the well-known hacker giving details about the date on which he will release an update for Mobile Substrate, but the development process continues, he has to recompile his entire plugin to make it 100% compatible with the chip's 64-bit architecture A7, but also with evasi0n7.

Having said that, if you use this type of patch, you do so at your own risk.
