iWidgets is a plugin released quite some time ago in Cydia, giving us the possibility to use widgets in the Springboard of our iDevices HTML. Using such widgets, we can add to Springboard elements such as those in the image above, showing us information about the weather, about our device, about feeds and more. The widgets are available separately in various repos of Cydia and their functionality depends on the developer's imagination.
After installation, tap and hold an empty space on the home screen to bring up the menu. A manual respring or restart may be required. The package includes two sample widgets. To download awesome widgets by the community, search for "iWidget" in Cydia. Also drop by the ModMyi iWidgets thread for help and more widgets.
