I have presented over time on iDevice.ro all kinds of innovative applications produced for foreigners, but today I am proud to present one dedicated to Romanians. The application is called My bus? and, if I'm not mistaken, it is the only one from Romania able to display in real time the location of public transport in a city. The application is dedicated to the citizens of the city Targoviste and it allows them to visualize in real time the position of any means of public transport in service in the city.
With the help of the "Transport Public Targoviste" application, you can get real-time information related to the positioning of buses and stations on mobile devices. When you launch the application, the stations closest to you will be displayed and you will be able to see the buses whose routes pass through these stations. You can add certain stations and/or routes to Favorites. In this way, you will be able to have easier access to the desired information. However, perhaps the most important facility of the "Targoviste Public Transport" application is that in real time you can see all the stations, as well as the times when the buses pass through these stations.
To be able to benefit from the advantages offered by this application, you need an internet connection. The "Targoviste Public Transport" application is built on the technical infrastructure of "Arvento Vehicle Tracking Systems" and is offered to you by SmartSafeGPS.
application My bus? upon opening it displays the stations closest to our location and allows us to view the bus routes, plus their location, so you will always know how close a bus is to you. Of course, all means of public transport are monitored by GPS and the information reaches the application, an Internet connection being necessary for its use. To be honest, I can only be glad that a company had the courage to implement such a system in a city in Romania and I can only think how useful it would be if someone thought to implement it implement in Bucharest, or in other big cities in the country.
