iOS 7 brought an application for the first time FaceTime for iPhone, the version for iPad and iPod Touch being updated, Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), giving us the possibility to access the contact list through it to make calls, but also to have a list of calls for this service. What many still do not know is that this application FaceTime for iOS 7 it also allows viewing detailed information about calls and the data traffic consumed by them, whether we are talking about video calls or audio calls.

As you can already see from the image above, the FaceTime application displays the data traffic consumed by each type of call made using our iDevices, this being impossible to view in iOS 6. Separate from the information in this application, in the menu Settings>Cellular the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), it also lists the total data traffic consumed during FaceTime calls through a mobile data network, but unfortunately the FaceTime application does not distinguish between the types of connections.

Having said that, now you will know exactly how much data traffic you will consume while making FaceTime calls, and based on what can be seen above, 1 minute of video call consumes about 3 MB of data, while 1 minute of audio call consumes about 1 MB of data.
