XBOX Live could be implemented in future games from the App Store

XBOX Live is the platform Microsoft specially designed for consoles XBOX 360, being implemented in all games available for American products, offering users the opportunity to interact with the company's servers. Although until recently those from Microsoft have not shown interest in giving games for other platforms access to this network, it seems that in Redmond there is interest in expanding compatibility, the company employing a series of engineers whose role is to develop an SDK that allows implementation XBOX Live in games for iOS.

New Devices and Gaming is looking for passionate and experienced developers to join us. Your contribution will have a direct impact on how we win back our game developers from our competitors. As a member of the newly formed team, you will have the rare opportunity to influence our planning and design from the beginning. We will create a modern framework that is open source, light-weight, extensible and scalable across various platforms including Windows Store, Windows Phone, iOS and Android. Working on the gaming technologies, you will collaborate with both internal partner teams across the company and external ecosystem partners to enable end-to-end gaming scenarios.

Before you think about who knows what functionality for XBOX Live, I will tell you that the platform is intended to be a simple competitor for Game Center, offering users the opportunity to challenge themselves for games to obtain bonuses and much, much more. The interest of those from Microsoft to integrate this system into the iOS platform denotes the importance of mobile terminals, but also of the operating system of those from Apple, but it remains to be seen how long it will take until everything is available.
