Business Wall of Fame is a contest supported by Romtelecom si Deutsche Telekom, and developed in 6 European countries, and through it, business application developers have the opportunity to transform their application into a product that could end up in mobile terminals, laptops or desktop stations of large companies around the world. The contest is dedicated to independent application developers or startups that develop applications for the business environment, specifically SMEs, the applications having to be at least in the production stage to be publicly tested.
Business applications participating in the Business Wall of Fame contest, can win the following prizes offered by Romtelecom si Deutsche Telekom:
- the first is dedicated the best applications in Romania, the first place being awarded with the promotion within a marketing campaigns worth €30.000 thought by Romtelecom and inclusion in the Romtelecom Business Solutions portfolio, the second and third places will be Cloud Partners of Romtelecom Business Solutions and their applications will be included in the operator's product portfolio;
- the second will be offered the best international business applications, the first place being awarded with inclusion of the application in the Deutsche Telekom portfolio for all 6 countries (Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia and Slovakia) in which the competition is held, the second place consists of a visit to Telekom Laboratories Berlin;
- and the third will be awarded the best applications of a startup, the first place being awarded with a proposal of investment of up to €80.000 within hub:raum Krakow, the second place being awarded with a invitation to T-Labs' "Long Night of Startups". and a stand of its own at the fair.
The contest will take place in two stages, the first assuming registration of the application your business on the website www.wallofbusiness.ro, until May 22, the second consists of the voting and judging of the registered applications. Each application entered in the competition will be voted by the members of the Romanian SME community, the number of votes received between May 22 and June 30 by the applications determining their participation in the judging or not. After establishing the registered applications for each country, a jury made up of managers, sales, product and IT experts from Romtelecom will choose the national winners by July 31. Furthermore, the best international business application and the best business application of a startup will be selected by an international jury from the 6 participating countries until August 6.
Practically Romtelecom si Deutsche Telekom I finally give business application developers from Romania the opportunity to "put their head out" on the international scene with their own product.
