Podcasts is the application developed by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for its customers who watch the podcasts published in iTunes Store, and last night it was updated with a series of important improvements. They start with a new menu that allows faster viewing of podcast episodes, saving them for offline viewing, automatic deletion after viewing and opening descriptions in Safari.
Improved Episode Browsing
• Quickly find episodes you haven't listened to in the new Unplayed tab
• Browse episodes that are available to download or stream in the Feed tab
• Save your favorite episodes to keep them offline
• Episodes can now be automatically deleted after you play them
• Tap on links that appear in podcast and episode descriptions to open them in Safari
The second part includes support for Crab, application Podcasts now being able to run the podcasts available in it based on a command given by Crab, play podcasts being her. Using variations of this command we can view podcasts or stations already available in iTunes Store, their names having to be spoken as clearly as possible so that the assistant understands exactly what we want from him.
Ask Siri
• You can now ask Siri to play podcast episodes by simply saying "play podcasts"
• To play specific podcasts or stations, just ask Siri to play them by name, like "play TEDTalks"
• Please note that Siri may not be available in all languages or in all areas.
Finally, there remains the implementation of the support for viewing Podcasts through the system C of cars, the possibility to view the podcasts of a station by simply accessing its icon from the list of stations, solving a problem with running podcasts after syncing with iTunes, and finally the option to share links to podcasts favorites using the system AirDrop only available in iOS 7 and only for iDevices launched since 2012 and up to now.

• Start playing a station from the stations list — just tap the Play button next to the station name
• Share links to your favorite podcasts using AirDropThis update also resolves playback issues after syncing with iTunes and improves stability while downloading podcasts.
