iOS maintains its position in the top operating systems for mobile terminals used in Europe

iOS is one of the most popular operating systems for mobile terminals, but in the last fiscal quarters the market share held in Europe decreased constant, Windows Phone si Android being the main winners. According to a recent study by the analysis agency Kantar, at the moment iOSholds 17.5% of the market share in Europe, Android- being placed first with 72.4%, while Windows Phone- occupies the third position with 8.4%.

OS shares across Europe have stabilized with Android holding its position as the number one operating system in Europe, with a 72.4% share of the market. It is followed by Apple with a 17.5% share, while in third place; Windows' European market share stands at 8.4%. In Britain Android holds 58.2% of the market and iOS 30.2%, while Windows accounts for 9.5%.

These figures represent the European average for the market shares held by these operating systems, but if we look at the individual shares of various countries, things are different. For example, in Great Britain iOS has a market share of 30.2%, while Android registers 58.2%, but the problem for Apple lies in countries where the purchasing power is lower, Android being king there.
