iOS 8 – new details about design, functions and everything that Apple will present!

  One of the important sections that will be available will allow us to monitor our activity with details about daily exercises, calories burned and distances traveled, working in tandem with a section that allows weight monitoring over time. Apart from these, the application will contain a section called Emergency Card, allowing us to store essential information regarding our identity, our interest in organ donation, emergency contact information and much more.

  Healthbook is thought of as an informational hub about our person, Apple trying to attract users who use one of the many fitness and health applications available in the App Store.

Maps

  Apple Maps is one of the most problematic Internet systems ever designed by the Apple company and although it has been available for 2 years, only in iOS 8 is going to have a major improvement. More precisely, the Apple company is going to maintain the design applied last year for the application, but it is going to offer updated maps, a better formula to visualize the data and not only that. Apple changed the fonts of the writing of the names and some graphic elements of the application following the complaints made by the users, the idea being to make it easier for us to discover the information.

  One of the main novelties offered by Maps in iOS 8 is a direction system for public transport routes, Apple finally following in the footsteps of those from Google. The new functionality will be included in two sections, the one where we can choose the routes we are going to travel on, but also the one where we choose the way the maps are presented to us. Although the Apple company has been preparing this function for about a year, it seems that it will be launched only next year, not being ready for presentation.

Game Center

  Released in iOS 4System Game Center could be withdrawn from iOS starting with iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 after several years in which he did not convince many users to use it. Apple is now thinking of giving up definitively the application dedicated to this system and to maintain only the possibility of integrating it into the applications, it will be available to users only through the dedicated sections implemented by the users.

  In iOS 7 the Apple company has completely redone the design of the Game Center application, but this has not helped in any way to increase the popularity of the system.

Preview and TextEdit

  Because iOS 8 needs dedicated applications for viewing documents and photos, Apple will port the TextEdit and Preview applications for iDevices from OS X. Although you would think that they will allow the editing of documents and pictures in our terminals, in reality the applications are made only to allow the viewing of some documents and pictures saved in iCloud using the OS X applications.

  Probably few of you expected something like this, but Apple is preparing to introduce in iOS 8 a feature that allows the iPad tablet to be used as a second monitor for the Mac. The functionality will be similar to that offered by the application Air Display from App Store and practically allows Mac owners to display information from OS X on the iPad tablet monitor to have it more easily available without cluttering the Mac screen.

  The function has been in the development process for a very long time and it is not known if it will be included in iOS 8 for the fall or if it will be released in iOS 8.1 or much later.

Shazam for Siri

  One of the functions rumored to be ready for presentation a few months ago is integration the functionality of the Shazam application in the Siri personal assistant. As you probably already thought, Crab it can be used in conjunction with a microphone to identify any song playing around us loud enough to be picked up by the microphone, with Shazam then taking over the job of identifying it.

Two major Apple partners in the US have already implemented the new technology in their own network and launched it in the past weeks, the Apple company will then make it available together with iPhone 6, iPhone 5S being compatible with it, but not having implemented software support.
