iOS 8 brings new functions for restricting applications' access to location information and more

Starting with iOS 8 the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), brings a series of important changes for applications that retrieve information about locations and more. In the settings menu for access to our location, Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), now gives us the possibility to give applications permission to access our location even when running in the background, or to restrict access completely.

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has thought for its developers new types of permissions for apps that need location information, apps asking for permissions differently. Now the applications will ask us if we want to provide location information all the time, or only when the applications are used by us, when they are closed in the background, location information not being provided.

Menu Settings>Privacy>Location Services we have the possibility to choose these options for applications based on their settings, but the system is not perfect. Instead of having the possibility to choose whether an application can receive location information at any time, only when it is used on the main screen or never, Apple only offers half measures for each application.

As the iOS 8 it will evolve, we will probably see changes for this system, but everything depends on the attitude of the American company.
