An interesting change implemented by the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), for the function Do Not Disturb a iOS 8 it gives us the possibility to hide notifications for individual contacts. The option is only available for the new application Messages and is accessible through the section Details, giving us the opportunity to stop receiving notifications for messages from certain contacts in our address book.
Practically, if we activate this option, all the messages sent by that person will reach the application iOS 8 Messages, but we will only see them when we open the application, without being notified beforehand. The option is very good if you have annoying people in your contact list, but don't forget to deactivate it when things return to normal, otherwise you might lose important messages.
