250 new emoji emoticons will be available in iOS

  As you already know very well, iOS- offers us the possibility to activate an Emoji keyboard that allows us to access hundreds of emoticons that can be inserted wherever we can write a text. These emoticons are made by the Unicode Consortium based on the Unicode Standard, and today the organization announced release of version 7.0 of the standard which will bring 250 new emoji characters for iOS si Android.

  In order to benefit from the new emoji characters, it will be necessary to update Android and iOS, and in the image above you can see some of the ones that will be available to us. Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has worked, is working and will work closely with the Unicode Consortium for the development and implementation of new emoji characters in iOS, but it is not known when the ones announced now will be available.

  Apart from the comic graphic images, the update announced today will also bring a whole series of new characters for the most important currencies in the world.
