OS X Yosemite - here's how you can activate the new dark mode

  In the WWDC 2014 the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), announced the implementation of a dark mode in OS X Yosemite, more precisely a theme that darkens the entire interface of the operating system when needed. Although in the first beta version of OS X Yosemite the new system was not made available, so in the second one it can be activated, but not by simply pressing a button, but using the application Port available OS X.

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences AppleInterfaceTheme Dark

  Opening the application Port and by entering the command above you will activate the new dark mode, a logout and a relogin in your account making everything active in the entire interface of OS X Yosemite. Although the new mod is interesting, unfortunately it is currently available in beta version, which is why Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), it doesn't enable it for all users, so you won't have a great experience using it.
