Owners of Android terminals spend 4 times less money on applications than iOS users

During the day yesterday the company Google offered in the frame Google I/O some details about the income generated by Google Play for application developers Android. In the base some calculations made for the figures presented by Google, terminal owners Android spends only a quarter of the amounts allocated by the terminal owners iOS for applications and content for your own terminals.

Google Android users in total are spending around half as much on apps on more than twice the user base, and hence app ARPU on Android is roughly a quarter of iOS.

Although over 1 billion terminals Android they are active monthly all over the world, that's it Google Play does not manage to generate more money than App Store-, and this in the conditions where the user base of Android is much larger. The difference is logical considering that the vast majority of Android terminal owners own cheap devices and do not allocate much money for applications or do not allocate any money for such purchases.
