Version 13.1 of the application Facebook was launched last evening by the company Facebook for our iDevices, the changelog presented in App Store informing us that only a series of bug fixes have been implemented. Although Facebook did not mention this in the changelog for App Store, its engineers they did it to reduce by up to 50% the rate of sudden closures (crashes) of the application, this being a major change for its creation.
Several months ago, one of our top crashes on iOS was manifesting itself in Apple's Core Data system, an object-relational mapper into the underlying database (SQLite). We were receiving these crashes into our crash report analyzer, but it took months to figure out the right angle to approach the problem from.
