Pioneer launches the first third-party CarPlay systems

  Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has launched C during the past year to allow iDevice owners to connect their terminals to compatible cars and benefit from a suite of functions specially designed for them. C it was adopted by a multitude of car manufacturers, but few models on the market actually contain this system, so Apple also collaborates with manufacturers of third-party entertainment systems, Pioneer being the first to launch a system C third

  Those from Pioneer implement the system in 5 of the systems NEX launched during this year, more precisely in AVIC–8000NEX, AVIC–7000NEX, AVIC–6000NEX, AVIC–5000NEX si  AVH–4000NEX, the last being the cheapest, with a price of $700. The example of those from Pioneer will certainly be followed by other manufacturers of systems of this kind and probably by the end of the year there will be several dozen models compatible with CarPlay.
