8.1 iOS jailbreak for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch was released earlier today by the Pangu hacking team, and is compatible with all of the company's products, including iPhone 6 and 6 iPhone Plus. The new jailbreak solution also works with iOS 8 or iOS 8.0.2, so you will be able to use it without problems to jailbreak your devices, regardless of which Apple product you currently own.
Jailbreak iOS 8.1 it is made available by Pangu with some limitations, and I will talk about those as soon as new information about it comes to light. To begin with, I tell you that this jailbreak was developed specifically for developers of tweaks and applications for Cydia, the application that allows us to install various packages in our terminals NOT BEING COMPATIBLE with Pangu iOS 8.1 jailbreak at the moment.
Because of the many changes iOS8 system, Cydia and many plug-dependent Substrate framework can not be used in iOS8. So we provide developers need some basic plug-in such as environment and SSH version 1.0 jailbreak, the convenience Cydia authors and other developers as soon as possible for iOS8 modify their code. After the completion of compatible Cydia, we will release updates to integrate Cydia. So, Pangu jailbreak (iOS8) version 1.0 is ready for strict jailbreak developer version.
This first jailbreak solution only allows accessing the system files of our iDevices via SSH, and unfortunately you won't be able to do much in Terminal other than copy/transfer files or run various commands through a Terminal app. In this idea, don't get too excited for now because the jailbreak solution is useless, but in the next few days we will probably have a version of Cydia compatible with it.
