Apple blocks malware infecting non-jailbroken iPhones

Yesterday I spoke to you for the first time about WireLurker, a malware developed by Chinese hackers and included in more than 400 applications of a App Store Chinese, infecting Apple Macs by installing applications. After infecting Macs, the malware automatically infects including iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch- connected via USB to the originally infected Mac, the biggest problem being that iDevices don't need to be jailbroken beforehand to be exploited by this software.

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), has been notified of its existence WireLurker and claims that the problem is solved, the company probably updating the list of firewall definitions from OS X which prevents the installation of infected applications. In this idea, the American company advises users not to install applications from unknown sources, this after applications with this malware recorded more than 350.000 downloads from users who had no idea what was hidden behind an apparently safe application.
