Microsoft Office for iPhone it was released yesterday in the App Store, with Microsoft updating the apps Word, Excel and PowerPoint for iPad to make them universal and compatible with iPhone terminals. Initial versions only compatible with tablets iPad have generated 40 million App Store downloads in over half a year although they require subscriptions to enable advanced document editing, and despite maintaining the strategy in new versions, they are proving to be very popular.
The applications Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint for iOS are placed in the first places of the list of the most downloaded free applications of the App Store in many areas of the world, including in Romania, a sign that many users are interested in them.
