Mozilla criticizes iOS and Android by promoting Firefox OS

Mozilla launched a series of attacks against iOS and Android promoting Firefox OS at the same time, the American company claiming that the operating systems of its competitors are closed and completely non-transparent in terms of functionality. The CTO of Mozilla, Andreas Gal, spoke in an article published by the famous Guardian about the fact that all consumers have the right to know how their mobile terminals use their information. Right now the only options available on the market are mobile phones that don't provide details about how they manage our data and where it goes, and that's wrong, according to Mozilla's CTO.

Firefox OS is promoted as an alternative to these operating systems, offering transparency in data management systems, all without Mozilla making any apparent profit. Going further, Gal accuses Google of spying on Android terminal users in order to increase the company's value on the data obtained from them, as they are constantly monitored wherever they are. In order to keep their practices active, both Apple and Google have removed the headlines from their app stores that told users how they are being tracked, and this shows how dangerous these operating systems are.

Additional details about the information provided by Gal you can read here and despite the fact that he's right, no one is going to run to Firefox OS to save themselves from iOS and Android.
