During this early weekend the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), updated the promotions available in App Store for applications, so we're talking about the best application of the week for iPad promoted in the section Editor's Choice. PeakFinder Earth is the application recommended by the Apple company for owners of iPad tablets and although the name does not say it, it allows us to explore mountains from all over the world directly from our own iPad tablet. The application has available to us a multitude of 360-degree panoramic maps with images of the most famous mountains in the world, but not only that.

This works completely offline – and worldwide! PeakFinder knows more than 250'000 peaks – from Mount Everest to the little hill around the corner.

According to the description made by the developers, the PeakFinder Earth application contains no less than 250.000 names of mountain peaks from all over the world and allows the quick display of maps that cover 300 km at each start. Separately, the application allows the location of the mountain peaks on the map using GPS coordinates, allows viewing images through an effect similar to that generated by viewing images using binoculars and many, many others. PeakFinder Earth is available for DOWNLOAD in universal format in the App Store, it is updated weekly by the developers who launched it in the store.
