Facebook Messenger Essentials is a tweak available from this evening in Cydia for our iDevices, it is specially designed to allow us to implement a wide range of new features for the Facebook Messenger app of iOS 8. According to the developer of the tweak, it implements the ability to disable read receipts for messages, disable the text for the chat windows, disables the option to make VoIP calls directly from the application, displays the full time when messages are sent or received and finally allows the status bar to be hidden.
