CarPlay will be ported to iPhone and iPad

CarPlay is a system developed by the Apple company especially for automobiles around the world, it being implemented in the multimedia systems of cars with the idea of allowing drivers to interact more easily with the iDevices interconnected to the car. CarPlay projects on the multimedia system monitor information taken from some native applications available in our terminals and practically its only purpose is to make it easier for us to use Siri and not only that.

Using CarPlay we can use a turn-by-turn navigation system with voice guidance, view the list of songs from the terminals, the possibility to use Spotify more easily and send messages through the Messages application. The system was initially thought to be used only on cars, but a recent port is intended to allow its use including on iPhone terminals or iPad tablets, and the images of this article you can see exactly how everything looks.

CarPlay port

As you can see from the video clip below, CarPlay does not work quite so smoothly in the iOS interface, but this is perfectly normal considering that we are talking about a port that is currently far from being perfectly functional. In this idea, the developer who managed to activate the possibility to view the system on any iDevices says that he will perfect the playback method in the near future.

Considering that this CarPlay was designed to work on car screens, its usefulness on an iPad tablet is limited only to the situation in which that product is actually mounted in a car. If we limit ourselves to iPhone terminals, then the utility is again much reduced, considering that the space available for viewing information is smaller and does not allow the use of CarPlay in very good conditions in any situation.
