Samsung invests the most money in research and development

Samsung is the only company for which it was proven in court that it copied the designs of another company when it developed its own mobile terminals, thus stealing Apple's intellectual property.

Paradoxically, Samsung is also one of the companies that invests enormous sums of money in research and development annually, in 2014 placing second in the global top of companies that invest in this field. Samsung was surpassed only by Volkswagen in terms of investments in research and development, and at the top we find from the technological field Intel, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, IBM and Cisco, Microsoft or Apple not being found.

In the Samsung technological field is placed on the first position in the list of the biggest investors in research and development, and now I return to the first paragraph of this article, the paradox with the Koreans' practices being hard to avoid. It is almost impossible to understand how a company that steals intellectual property invests so much money in research and development, but still fails to obtain its own designs for products and annually follows the steps made by Apple.

Unfortunately for Samsung, a good part of the sums invested in research and development would be better spent on promoting the current products, or hiring some really talented people. Of course, most of the sums spent annually by Samsung in this segment are dedicated to the divisions that produce a multitude of other technologies, but the mobile division certainly has a generous budget.
