CarPlay iOS is a tweak released during this evening in Cydia for our iDevices, and with its help we can bring to iPhone and iPad the CarPlay system developed by Apple only for compatible cars. I talked to you this week about a port that a developer makes for the CarPlay system in the idea that it should work in iOS, and the CarPlay iOS tweak is the result of his work, it is now available in Cydia for us.
First Preview of the new CarPlay iOS application. The preview 1 is only in French but next Previews are translated in English. This first preview may have bugs. Next Preview (2) introduces new functional app. App added to Home Screen. With this preview you have two apps:
- Music App
- Now Playing App
CarPlay iOS is presented as a preview version of the final tweak that will be available in the near future, with only the Music and Now Playing applications available for now, the entire interface being currently available in English. A second version of CarPlay iOS will bring English language support and more apps, but in the meantime you can play with everything the developer has created and is available to us now.
