CES 2015 SEAGATE WIRELESS

CES 2015 starts on January 6, but today those from Seagate announced the launch of new extremely interesting products for ordinary consumers. We are talking about a new version of 500 GB portable hard disks, but also about a server that can be used to create your own cloud for file storage.

Let's talk about portable hard drives first Seagate Wireless, these having 500 GB of storage space for files and a dedicated application for control. Using a Wi-Fi connection and the dedicated application, anyone can stream multimedia files on the Internet, no matter where they are, and they can also be saved as a backup in a separate HDD.

The new product is available in 5 different colors for users, offers up to 9 hours of autonomy and can be purchased at the price of $129 on Seagate's website.

CES 2015 - Seagate Personal Cloud

Seagate Personal Cloud is the second product launched by the company, offering the possibility to create your own cloud server at home. This server allows data from computers to be saved using a Wi-Fi connection, being stored in its internal HDD to be accessed from anywhere and whenever we want.

Accessing the data for viewing can be done through a dedicated interface, but for multimedia streaming, the Seagate Media application is required. The interesting part is that using this application the files from the server can be accessed even from televisions or consoles, or even an Apple TV, so you can view the content anytime and anywhere.

Seagate Personal Cloud demystifies the often frustrating process of finding, accessing and enjoying photos, videos and music on the device of your choice. Once connected to a wireless router and after a free download of the Seagate Media app, users will be treated to an intuitive, media-rich browsing experience that makes playback of content an effortless and enjoyable experience.

Seagate Personal Cloud it will be offered by the company in versions with 3TB, 4TB and 5TB of storage space at the price of $169, an additional server can be bought with even more storage space.

Finally, Seagate launched the Seagate Seven HDD, the thinnest hard drive in the world, with 500 GB of storage space and only 7mm thick.
