eGeeTouch secures your luggage during your travels - CES 2015

eGeeTouch CES 2015

eGeeTouch is a smart lock presented at CES 2015, being specially designed for those who travel a lot and need secure luggage. The accessory is designed to work with the help of NFC technology, so that it will be unlocked only when a terminal with the eGee application installed is close to it.

The company behind it eGeeTouch claims that using NFC instead of Bluetooth offers a higher level of security because of the proximity required to unlock the lock. In this idea, only people in close proximity to it will be able to unlock it, and additionally we have a reduced energy consumption for their product.

For To unlock the smart lock eGeeTouch either an application or an NFC sticker for the iPhone or an accessory with an included NFC chip is required. Using a proprietary encryption technology, the company claims that a unique code is created for each lock that cannot be duplicated by another product on the market, so your items will be completely safe.

Considering that it is important for the luggage to be able to pass the security checkpoints, eGeeTouch meets the standards regarding baggage security systems during flights. In this idea, it is also resistant to contact with water, so that if it rains on your luggage or if an accident happens, it can still be opened.
