During the last year the company Samsung announced radical declines in revenue and profit amid declining smartphone sales, and problems continue for the Korean company. According to financial results for Q4 2014, Samsung's revenue fell by 12% compared to the same period last year, while profit fell by 37%.
In Q4 2013, the profit was 4.7 billion dollars compared to 7.6 billion in Q4 2013. This important decrease comes against the background of the increase in sales and profit compared to Q3 2014, but this was to be expected considering that we are talking about the winter holiday period .
The main problem of the company Samsung is the competition made by the small manufacturers of Android terminals in various Asian markets. The biggest problems for those from Samsung are in China, where manufacturers like Xiaomi convince the Chinese that their cheap smartphones are worth buying instead of those from Samsung or Apple.
Having said that, although the Apple company is going to register a record of receipts and profit, Samsung has major financial problems that don't seem to end for the Koreans.
