Touch ID and a feature you probably didn't know anything about

Touch id reverse fingerprint

touch ID is a security system for iPhones and iPads using our fingerprints, it was launched in 2013 by Apple and improved in 2014 through software to provide a better user experience. Touch ID allows us to scan our fingerprints and use them to unlock our terminals, to authorize payments, to access information from applications and much more.

If you use a iPhone or an iPad tablet with Touch ID for some time, then you noticed the fact that you can read the fingerprint regardless of the orientation in which you place your finger on the reader sensor. More precisely, even if you place your finger "upside down" or in any other orientation on the Touch ID fingerprint reader, it will immediately read the fingerprint and act accordingly for unlocking, payment confirmation, etc.

This feature is not known by many people and is extremely important because it does not oblige us to always scan our fingerprint in the position in which we registered it. The technology behind Touch ID allows the verification of fingerprint data regardless of the orientation in which they are scanned, the user being able to unlock the terminal faster and more efficiently in any conditions.

From my point of view, the possibility to scan the fingerprint anyway and to act the functionality of the iOS based on it is a great idea and I hope that Apple will not give it up in the future. What do you think?
